The Lighthouse is our fun St. Mary’s Sunday Club for children and young people, that happens at 9.30 every Sunday (except the 3rd Sunday in the month when the whole Church family comes together instead) – meeting mostly in the Church Centre, and finishing up in Church.

Welcomers will guide you to the correct Lighthouse venue ... get ready for some life-changing stuff from the Bible, plus an outrageously good time!

Holiday Clubs
In the Summer holidays St. Mary’s runs a very popular Holiday Club week for kids aged 5 up to 11, and watch out for the other exciting fun days we run during the year ...

St. Mary’s Church Choir
We are hugely proud of our Church Choir, which takes choristers from aged 7 upwards and gives them a great musical education with plenty of fun too ... and that’s just the Friday night practices! There are plenty of chances to sing in packed services and concerts, earn pocket money, make recordings, go on regular holiday tours (& sing the services in Cathedrals too) ...

“Little Footprints”
Our new St. Mary’s Parent & Toddler Group meets on Friday mornings between 10.00 - 11.30am, and includes fun learning, play, worship songs ... and a good cup of coffee for mums & dads!

St. Mary’s Nursery School
Our Church Nursery School, located around the corner from St. Mary’s in Denne Road has won a superb local reputation for its professional education, care & Christian nurture of children between 2½ and 5 years. It has strong links to our Lighthouse & Little Footprints groups, the Kairos service and also St. Mary’s (Church Aided) Primary School ... great resources for a wonderful all-round Christian upbringing!
