GETTING BAPTISED OR CONFIRMED AT ST. MARY'S

Please contact the Parish Office, who will be delighted to hear from you and to help you make arrangements for your Baptism or Confirmation.

If you have not already spoken to them about it, one of our clergy will also be keen to know that you are thinking of being baptised or confirmed - and would love to encourage you, and chat through what is involved.

We will take your name, address and contact details, and will be in touch as soon as possible to invite you to the next Alpha Course or Confirmation preparation course that is due to take place at St. Mary’s.

These courses are run regularly during the year, with separate sessions for teenage and adult participants, helping you to ponder what it means to live as a follower of Jesus Christ. We normally expect candidates to complete both the Alpha & the (short) Confirmation courses, after which we will arrange a date with you for the Baptism and/or Confirmation service to take place.
