Sunday 9.30 Parish Communion
Please refer to the homepage for the current pattern of service times due to the restrictions in place in relation to COVID-19.
This is our main Service each week at St. Mary’s, and features contemporary liturgy, regular series of teaching sermons, our excellent robed Choir, and a mix of the best traditional & modern hymns. A crèche is available in Church – and “The Lighthouse”, our lively programme of groups and activities for children & young people, runs alongside in the other rooms in the Church and Church Centre. An exception is on the 1st Sunday of each month, when all ages come together for a shorter Church Family Communion, with a young people’s worship band as well as the Choir, and a more “child-friendly” interactive sermon.
All members of Christian Churches are welcome to receive Communion at St. Mary’s, or else a prayer of blessing if you prefer; & there is also an opportunity to receive confidential prayer ministry if you wish (for yourself or a loved one). Real coffee, tea & soft drinks (and quality chocolate biscuits!) are served after the service, providing a valuable chance to get to know one another better.
