We are keen to help everyone feel at home and part of the St. Mary&#8217;s Church family. One way this happens quite naturally, of course, is when people start to get involved by serving at St. Mary&#8217;s in practical ways.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\">We would be delighted if you would like to offer your time and talents for specific roles around the church. There is more information about what that might look like here, or you are welcome to message us below to begin the conversation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Fundraising Team\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\n\uf0b7 What is required: To join our teams fundraising for conservation &#038; renewal of our Church &#038; Church Centre buildings \u2013\u00a0making them both sound and better equipped for our 21st century mission. Helping apply to grant-making bodies,\u00a0coordinate appeals, and communicate with our own congregation &#038; the wider public.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Frequency: As required<br \/>\n\uf0b7 For more information: the Churchwardens via the Church Office \u2013 01403 253762<\/p>\n<p><strong>Creche \u2013 10am service<\/strong><br \/>\n\uf0b7 What is required: Helpers to set out toys, welcome parents &#038; children, play with children aged 0-3 in the side chapel during the 10am service until Communion, and clear away.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Frequency: Helpers are on duty approximately twice per term depending upon numbers<br \/>\n\uf0b7 For more information:\u00a0 Church Office \u2013 01403 253762<\/p>\n<p><strong>Baptism visitors<\/strong><br \/>\n\uf0b7 What is required: Ambassadors for St. Mary\u2019s to visit prospective baptism families in their home (one visit) to get to\u00a0know them &#038; explain more about Baptism (&#038; St. Mary\u2019s for young families), accompany them to a Kairos service, &#038;\u00a0attend the Baptism. Build relationships, supervise games\u00a0such as table tennis, football &#038; operate tuck shop. Occasional: Trips out to trampoline parks, climbing, ice skating etc.<br \/>\n\uf0b7 Frequency: Part of a rota \u2013 at least once per month but preferably twice.
