commitments are:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Promoting a Safer environment and culture<\/li>\n<li>Safely recruiting and supporting all those with any responsibility related to children, young people and vulnerable adults within the Church<\/li>\n<li>Responding promptly to every safeguarding concern or allegation<\/li>\n<li>Caring pastorally for victims\/survivors of abuse and other affected persons<\/li>\n<li>Caring pastorally for those who are the subject of concerns or allegations of abuse and other affected persons<\/li>\n<li>Responding to those that may pose a present risk to others.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Horsham PCC agreed and adopted the Church of England\u2019s Safeguarding Policy at its meeting on 22nd September 2022. \u00a0A full copy of the Church of England\u2019s one of the team below.<br \/>\nIf there is an immediate threat to someone\u2019s safety, call the Police.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Our Safeguarding Team<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>We have appointed <strong>Jude Wolstenholme<\/strong>\u00a0as our <strong>St. Mary\u2019s Church Safeguarding Officer<\/strong> and <b>Liz Lobb<\/b>\u00a0as the <strong>Horsham Parish Safeguarding Officer.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our St. Mary\u2019s Church Safeguarding Officer is the first person to speak to if you have any concerns around the welfare of a child or adult with
